Selina Moore (Association Head) has studied Kobujutsu for many years. Kobujutsu is an ancient Okinawan weapons system. Studying the weapons of Bo, Sai, Tonfa, Kama etc.

Selina has been involved in fitness and Martial Arts for many years possibly following in the footsteps of her Father who held an interest in the Martial Art Aikido. Having also background knowledge of teaching gym instruction. Once a very keen runner, entering many 10k’s and has completed the worlds biggest half marathon the Great North Run but unfortunately many years of step classes and pounding the tarmac has proved difficult to continue running due to injury.

Apart from day to day management of Kombatkids, Selina is our Designated Safeguarding Person having attended several Child Protection and Safeguarding courses and has also attended conferences with the Dyspraxia Foundation.

Selina organises Kombatkids company courses..Instructor First Aid Courses with St.John's Ambulance Sports First Aid Certification and Instructor Child Protection Courses with UK Coaching Certification. Selina is a Registered Liaison Officer with a Disclosure and Barring Service umbrella body and provides all DBS checks on all instructors.

Selina is married to Steve Moore and they have three children Jamie, Lyle and Lana.
